1. FDA Posts Various Notices to its Web Site

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has posted the following notices to its Web site:

FDA warns consumers not to drink Bolthouse Farms carrot juice due to botulism concerns. FDA has posted to its Web site press release stating that in response to a fourth case of botulism being linked to Bolthouse Farms, Bakersfield, California brand carrot juice, the FDA is warning consumers not to drink and to discard the Bolthouse Farms Carrot Juice, 450ml and 1 liter plastic bottles, with "BEST IF USED BY" dates of November 11, 2006 or earlier. The FDA is also advising consumers to keep carrot juice - including pasteurized carrot juice - refrigerated. Findings from the investigation of foodborne E. coli O157:H7 outbreak in spinach. FDA has posted to its Web site the findings from the investigation on the foodborne E. coli O157:H7 outbreak in spinach. FDA states that all spinach implicated in the current outbreak has traced back to Natural Selection Foods LLC of San Juan Bautista, California. FDA statement on foodborne E. coli O157:H7 outbreak in spinach. FDA has posted to its Web site an updated statement on the foodborne E. coli O157:H7 outbreak in spinach. Updated guide for the control of molluscan shellfish posted. FDA has posted to its Web site the 2005 National Shellfish Sanitation Program Guide for the Control of Molluscan Shellfish, which updates the 2003 Guide. 3. FTZB Issues Correction on Notice of Application for FTZ Establishment

The FTZB has issued a correction of its 07/28/06 Federal Register notice describing the application by the Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation to establish an FTZ. The correction states that the port of entry includes the former user-fee airport of Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton Airport, and that the proposed sites are within the CBP port of entry of Philadelphia.
