1. CBP is Experiencing Problems with 355's and CUSRES for Truck Manifest
U.S. Customs and Border Protection has issued a Truck Manifest CSMS message announcing that the Automated Commercial Environment is currently experiencing a nationwide problem with Truck Manifest 355 Messages and CUSRES for Truck Manifest.
CBP states that this problem is sporadic and the estimated resolution time for this issue is 15:30 EDT on April 25, 2008. CBP notes that instances of delayed messages could persist throughout the day. A trouble ticket (2722534) has been issued.

2. CBP Posts Summary of AESTIR Changes for April 23, 2008
CBP has posted a summary of changes to the Automated Export System Trade Interface Requirements (AESTIR) to its Web site, indicating that Version 1.0 was changed on April 23, 2008 as follows:
Appendix F - License and License Exemption Type Codes and Reporting Guidelines
The ECCN has been changed from Allowed to Mandatory for the following License codes: C38-TSR, C41-RPL, C42-GOV, C43-GFT, C44-TSU, C45-BAG, C46-AVS, C47-APR, C48-KMI, C49-TAPS, and C50-ENC

Updated ABI error message dictionary. CBP has posted an updated version of its ABI Error Message Dictionary, a table containing detailed explanations on over 1400 error messages that are generated when a filer's transmission is rejected by ABI. Updated Global Entry FAQ. CBP has posted an updated version of its Global Entry frequently asked questions document. The FAQ was revised to include a section on integration with other programs and remove the explanation on how CBP will contact those accepted into the pilot program. List of NEXUS enrollment centers, crossing locations. CBP has posted a list of NEXUS enrollment centers and crossing locations. The NEXUS program allows pre-screened, low risk travelers to be processed with little or no delay by U.S. and Canadian officials at designated highway lanes at high volume border crossing locations, at a NEXUS kiosk at the Canadian Preclearance airports, and at certain marine reporting locations in the Great Lakes and Seattle, Washington regions. 4. Miscellaneous CBP Messages on AD and CV Duty Actions
The antidumping and countervailing messages U.S. Customs Border and Protection issues on behalf of the International Trade Administration are now only available on CBP's Web site at http://addcvd.cbp.gov. AD and CV ABI administrative messages are no longer issued.
