On June 9, 2009, the House passed H.R. 2997, the fiscal year 2010 appropriations bill for Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies.

FY 2010 State, Foreign Operations Appropriations Bill Passed by House

On July 9, 2009, the House passed H.R. 3081, a bill making appropriations for the Department of State, foreign operations, and related programs for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2010.

Delay in Senate's Schedule for Climate Bill Commented on by Senator

Senate Environment and Public Works Committee Ranking Member Inhofe issued a press release regarding recent press reports that Democrats have pushed back the timeline for climate legislation in the Senate. The press release refers to press reports that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has delayed until the end of September 2009 the deadline for the six Senate committees working on climate change/energy legislation.
