EU Government Notices for Dec 30-31

The European Union issued the following trade-related releases Dec. 30-31 (notices of most significance will be given separate headlines):

GSP+ scheme. The EU has issued the list of 10 countries set to benefit from the enhanced General System of Preferences scheme: Armenia, Bolivia, Cape Verde, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Georgia, Mongolia, Paraguay, Pakistan and Peru. Countries have fit the economic vulnerability and 27 core international conventions on human and labor rights implementation criteria. (here)
Public consultations. The European Chemical Agency (ECHA) is asking interested parties to submit their comments on the proposed harmonized classification and labeling (CLH) of 10 substances. Deadlines for comments are varying dates in January and February. (here)
New Substances. The European Chemical Agency (ECHA) decided on seven additions to the Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs). This identification as SVHC and its inclusion in the Candidate List is the first step of the authorization procedure. Two substances listed are also identified as being carcinogenic, with the remaining four substances identified as being toxic for reproduction. (here)
