The following lawsuits were filed at the Court of International Trade during the week of Sept. 29 - Oct. 5:

Toscelik Profil ve Sac Endustrisi and Cayirova Boru Sanayi ve Ticaret challenging the Commerce Department's final affirmative countervailing duty determination on oil country tubular goods from Turkey. #14-00233/234. Summons filed Sept. 29.
Hoosier Stamping & Mfg. Corp. challenging CBP's denial of protests on the classification of lawnmower tires. CBP classified the merchandise under HTS subheading 4011.99.8500 (3.4%). Hoosier argues they should have been classified under subheading 4011.92.0000 (free) or 9817.00.6000 (free). #14-00235. Summons filed Oct. 1.
Target Stores challenging CBP's denial of its protests on the classification of festive articles with holiday designs, themes, or symbols. CBP classified the articles under various subheadings subject to duty rates ranging from 3 to 20 percent. Target says they should all have been classified under subheadings 9805.10.5020 or 9817.95 (both free). #14-00236. Summons filed Oct. 2.
United States Steel Corporation challenging the International Trade Commission's negative final injury determinations on oil country tubular goods from the Philippines and Thailand. #14-00237. Summons filed Oct. 2.
Hyundai HYSCO challenging the Commerce Department's affirmative final determination in the antidumping duty investigation on oil country tubular goods from South Korea. #14-00238. Summons filed Oct. 2.
Maverick Tube Corporation challenging the International Trade Commission's negative final injury determinations on oil country tubular goods from the Philippines and Thailand. #14-00239. Summons filed Oct. 3.
United States Steel Corporation challenging the Commerce Department's final countervailing duty determination on oil country tubular goods from Turkey. #14-00240. Summons filed Oct. 3.
S.C. Johnson & Son challenging CBP's denial of its protests related to the classification of plastic food storage bags. CBP classified them under HTS subheading 3293.21.0030 (3%). S.C. Johnson says they should have instead been classified under subheading 3924.90.5650 because they are primarily used to store food or beverages for household purposes, and that they are entitled to duty-free treatment under the Generalized System of Preferences. #14-00241. Summons filed Oct. 3.
U.S. government asking the court to levy a $77,028 penalty under 19 USC 1592 against 3A Industrial Supply for false statements on entry documentation and failure to pay antidumping duties. #14-00242. Summons filed Oct. 5.
