Canadian Government Notices as of June 1

The government of Canada issued the following trade-related notices as of June 1 (note that some may also be given separate headlines):

• CBSA: review of final determinations of dumping for certain OCTG and certain hot-rolled carbon steel plate. The Canadian finance minister on May 1, 2020, requested that the president of the Canada Border Services Agency review the final determinations of dumping and the Canadian International Trade Tribunal review its injury findings with respect to oil country tubular goods (OCTG) originating in, or exported from, South Korea and Turkey, as well as steel plate originating in, or exported from, South Korea. As a result, the CBSA on May 29, 2020, initiated a review of the final determinations of dumping with respect to OCTG from South Korea and Turkey. The agency has also initiated a review of the final determination of dumping with respect to steel plate 7 from South Korea. The review will be concluded by the CBSA by July 31, 2020, which will be followed up by the CITT reviewing its findings.
