The following lawsuits were recently filed at the Court of International Trade:

Omni Distributors LLC, challenging CBP's denial of its protest claiming its hand sanitizers of Harmonized Tariff Schedule subheading 3824.99.9297 should be exempt from Section 301 duties under secondary subheading 9903.88.45. #22-00250. Filed Sept. 6.

Zamp Inc., challenging lists 3 and 4A Section 301 tariffs on products from China. #22-00251. Filed Sept. 7.

Appeals of CIT Decisions

The following appeals of Court of International Trade decisions were recently filed at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit:

Wheatland Tube Company, challenging an August Court of International Trade opinion that found that the Commerce Department properly excluded dual-stenciled pipe from the antidumping duty order on circular welded carbon steel pipes and tubes from Thailand (see 2209020053). #2022-2181. Opened Sept. 7.
