Miscellaneous CBP Releases

CBP issued the following releases on commercial trade and related matters:

• BACKLOG IN ACE Air Manifest, Ocean Manifest and Rail Manifest Outbound Notifications: CBP continues to address the delays Dec. 19 as of 1:03 p.m. EST (here)
• CBP's Office of Field Operations personnel at the Colombia-Solidarity Port of Entry in Texas seized more than 757 pounds of methamphetamine, worth $6.96 million in street value, Dec. 16. A cargo truck hauling a shipment of water for painting was referred for a secondary inspection that included CBP canines and physical inspection. The meth was found in plastic jugs within the shipment of water (here).
