Trade-Related Court Cases Recently Filed

The following lawsuit was recently filed at the Court of International Trade:

Outokumpu Stainless USA, LLC, challenging CBP's denial of its protest claiming its cold-rolled, flat-rolled stainless steel of Harmonized Tariff Schedule subheadings 7219.33.0044, 7219.34.0025, 7220.20.1080 or 7220.20.7080, which carry 25% Section 232 tariffs, should be exempt from the duties, since they were applied to the wrong country of origin. The company said the correct COO is Mexico. # 25-00047. Filed Feb. 20.
