U.S. Customs and Border Protection's Area Port of Boston is inviting the Greater Boston International Trade Community to attend its Trade Day on April 13, 2012. This event will provide an opportunity for members of the Trade Community to meet with CBP and Participating Government Agency officials who are responsible for facilitating the importation of their goods. There is no cost to attend this event, but advance on-line registration is requested. Register for this event here. There will be no formal presentations as CBP encourages participants to bring their questions and to interact one-on-one with the regulatory professionals. In addition to CBP, other agencies have confirmed their participation (FWS, FSIS, TTB) or have been invited to participate (EPA, CPSC, DOT, FCC, Commerce, NOAA, Massport). Contact Supervisory Import Specialist Valerie Sargent at (617) 565-6108 or at valarie.sargent@dhs.gov for questions or further information.
